Inter-Faith Conference
Commission for Inter-Faith and Ecumenism, Archdiocese of Madras – Mylapore and Joyism International, Chennai organised “Joyfully Journeying Together”, an Inter-Faith Social Unity Harmony Peace and Joy Initiative motivating all for a Joyful Future.
The event took place at Loyola Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Chennai on August 7,2023 from 3 pm to 5.30 pm. Leaders of many different religions like Christinaity, Islam, Zoroastrianism, Buddhism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Bahai Faith, etc,. had gathered along with more than 400 people who included students and teachers.
Most Rev.Dr.Lawrence Pius, Chairman, Commission for Inter-Faith and Ecumenism, Tamil Nadu Bishop Council was the Chief Guest for the event. He emphasized about the rich cultural heritage of India and the need to have mutual love and respect for all in his address.
Rajayogini BK Beena Ji, Zonal Service Coordinator of Brahma Kumaris Tamil Nadu Zone, was invited as a special guest to share her ideas on this occasion.
Sister Beena Ji spoke about some of the teachings of Brahma Kumaris and how we all are responsible to create a future world which will be filled with peace, joy and harmony and inspire everyone to become leaders in this world transformation. She also guided the audience to do a small meditation that helped them connect with the self and God.
